NFS - Curved screen - NZB Description
The curved screen is a very simple screen, the screen design does not have any moving parts.
The unscreened waste water is fed on top of the curved screen and flows downwards. Water will flow between the spacings and the wedges and leafs the screen.
Solids larger than the spacings will be retained on the screening surface and will fall down into a collection container.
The curved screen design is including:
Wedge wire sieving plate which will retain particles half the size of the slot width
Special designed sieving plate to avoid blockages
Distribution plate to direct the waste water including solids over the sieving plate
Optional support, depending on location
